White tailed sea eagle

Taken from a boat off the coast of Mull, Scotland.

There are plans to reintroduce these fantastic birds along the Suffolk coast here in the East of England, I can't wait to see them there.

  1. It's like a Ray (of the sea variety). Look at the tips of the wings! Are they the kind of feathers called 'pinions'? Not sure I like the look of the bird though. Seems a bit sinister from this angle.
